Fund a Nation was started with one simple goal, to make the lives of Bangladeshis better. By
empowering them, we will be enriching our nation as we have such a great population but it is not being
utilized properly. We will work towards making opportunities for people which would greatly benefit our
society by reducing the unemployment rate. We firmly believe that, we have a chance to make a change
for our society and we wanted to take that chance and make it into something tangible, something that
would cause a seismic shift towards the improvement of our country and Fund a Nation would be the
organization to bring that change.
Fund a Nation is a non-profit organization (NGO) which would focus on various social issues like hunger,
unemployment, illiteracy, women’s rights and so on. Most foundations focus on one key issue, however,
we believe that we have the capacity to focus on multiple issues at once through our foundation.
Primarily we will be focusing on solving hunger problems and unemployment issues and then slowly
move on towards other concerning issues as our foundation grows through the love and support of the
people.
Due to Covid-19, many people of this area are suffering from hunger and malnutrition and as soon as
the volunteers of Fund a Nation informed us about it, we rushed here to aid them. We provided food
and groceries to more than a hundred families. We will also be trying to create job and business
opportunities for people who have lost their livelihoods due to this pandemic. We can help them
kickstart a tea-stall or provide them with a job with a decent salary through our empowerment program.
Also, we plan to utilize our volunteers to teach children and provide them with basic education and
advocate for women who can’t stand up for themselves in the far corners of our country.
We are only starting here. Whenever we are informed that there are people in distress, we will rush out
there and help them to the best of our abilities. We hope to help people in any way we can and strive to
aid them into achieving their goals. That’s the only way Fund a Nation will find itself to be useful and
successful. We are currently doing this campaign with our limited resources and we know that a lot of
people in our country are now looking for aid in these troubling times and Fund a Nation will stand next
to them to the best of its abilities.
Love and appreciation are the biggest support that we can desire. As young people, we are relatively
new here and there are lots of experienced people in our country who have been working for a very
long time to improve our society. We would like them to help us and guide us with a positive attitude.
Also, there are some people who are probably looking for opportunities to help people but never had
the opportunity to do so. We would like to invite them to join us and make our country a great place to
live in.
